In Las Vegas, President's Day Weekend usually has beautiful weather! As a result, many people like to throw a BBQ;
Were you invited to a president's day barbecue, but have no idea what to wear?
Well first, what type of barbecue? It could be a pool party or a picnic event.

Pool Party BBQ:

For a pool party bbq in Vegas, you should dress lightly.

A cute maxi dress with a bathing suite underneath is ideal. Add a cute pair of sandals and some accessories and you're set!
If it is a little breezy outside, wear a light cardigan on top. It will keep you warm, while still having that bohemian, spring, pool party look.

Picnic Event:

For a picnic event, you have two options; a mini dress or jeans.


Dress- if you are in the mood to show off your legs, wear a dress! You can style it up with some accessories and sandals and you are ready to go.
 Is the outfit feeling a little plain? - add a scarf.
If it is a patterned dress, wear a scarf that is a single color (one that matches the pattern).
If it is a single colored dress, wear a bold, daring scarf.





































Jeans- If you feel more comfortable in jeans, then you can wear your comfy jeans while still looking fashionable!
There are two options:
#1: Wear a cute sweatshirt or crop top with a white scarf and white sneakers. Add jewelry.
#2: Wear a sleeveless blouse or top and add a matching cardigan. Wear with white sneakers and silver or white jewelry.

What has really caught my eye on the spring runway collections has been Valentino!
 I am just very fascinated by his fashion collection.

His collection feels very european to me. He blends todays fashions with early european styles. I love it!

This white number is so so so cute! It is so versatile!  It can be worn in the day as style or it can be styled with booties and some sort of top for night time. It is such a beautiful dress. I would totally wear it, which is rare for runway. Most runway outfits are not so wear-ready.

These dresses are so spring! Pastel pink is so in right now and Valentino does it perfectly. He also blends some of it with lace which is also a huge fashion trend for spring!

These, if styled properly, are very elegant!

My new favorite fashion blog!

This week my school has Spirit Week! Today's attire is a sports fan. So I looked through my brother's closet and found a saints jersey. I chose to wear that one because it's the easiest colors to style up.

What I did was I tucked the jersey into a black mini skirt (jean) with a gold belt, added black tights so I don't look like a slut and its fashionable, and I chose to wear my gold uggs because it matches the Saints colors. On top I wore a black leather jacket because it was chilly outside. Also add gold jewelry to spice it up...and voila! you look stylist even on sports fan day!

so let me just take the time to talk about two of my biggest dreams.

1. going to france. i have always wanted to go, but recently i've had this burning passion. this intense desire to go to france. like i feel it calling for me. i dont know... that sounds weird. but as soon as i can, i will go. i love the language, fashion, music, haha everything! i just feel a deep deep conection to everything their. but i don't even know why. none of my family is from there. its odd.

2. having an amazing closet. lol, i don't want to sound shalow or materialistic or anything, but i want a big, beautiful closet full with all my fashionable clothes. ahhh. and i want to design it desplaying my shoes and everything.

You want to be super comfortable so jeans is a very sport yet cute look. A cute cardigan or comfy sweater would work perfect for a chill afternoon anywhere.



For Dress:





-If you are feeling like you want a change from those daily boring jeans, then a casual dress can work perfectly! If it is cold outside, throw on a casual cardigan and boots with tights. However, if it is nice outside, wear the dress with a light cardigan and cute sandals.
