Fashion Before and After Uniforms

I have not done this in a while so I decided to style TWO people this week, one girl and one boy. I enjoy styling up my fellow classmates uniforms. I think one of the main reasons I enjoy it so much is because it makes me have to be creative due to the limited things I could do. Sometimes, it may just be un-tucking a shirt, or even adding an extra tie. But those small changes make a worlds of difference with the outfits! Even the hair and the accessories with the outfit chances a lot!

First was a freshman in my school. She is super cute!

This is the before and after of her uniform of the day:

The Before:
Before, her collar was all over the place. The top button wasn't buttoned and  neither was the bottom ones. The shirt was sloppily un-tucked and her tie was no where to be found. In addition, her hair was in two separate messy buns on the sides of her head. She did not look too happy.

The After:
After, the top and bottom buttons were done.  The shirt was tied and looked super cute. To top it off the tie was found and placed on top. The cardigan was set in place and the shoes looked adorable. Lastly, we let her hair down into beautiful waves and twisted the bangs to the side. She then posed very sassily. SUPER CUTE GIRL!

Next I styled up someone in my grade, a sophomore.

Here is the before and after of his uniform that day:

The Before:
At first, his shirt was tucked in his pants. In addition, his pants were pulled up way too high. His shirt collar buttons were buttoned all the way up and his collar was messed up.

The After:
I un-tucked his shirt, and put his pants at their normal position. Next I un-buttoned all the collar buttons and to add a bit of character in the outfit only one collar popped. I don't recommend the one collar popped look though. Very few people can actually pull that off.

Kate Middleton's Very Fashionable

Kate Middleton Wears a Daring Dress for a Night Out With Prince William

(Weir Photos/Splash News)(Weir Photos/Splash News)
While it wasn't exactly an Angelina Jolie leg flash, Kate Middleton showed some royal thigh last night when she stepped out with Prince William in London.
Attending a private dinner at the Thirty Club, the duchess dazzled in a cream colored Roland Mouret gown which exposed a daring amount of leg. The top of was more modest — it featured a high neck and long sleeves. The dress, which is her raciest look since she came into the public eye, hugged the curves of her slender frame.
While Middleton's style has been largely praised throughout her first year as an official member of the royal family, there has been some criticism over her shoe choices with famed luxury footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood saying, "You're meant to be a princess-y type of person, so act like one!'" But last night her shoe selection was major — she opted for a pair of mile-high silver Jimmy Choo sandals that just made her legs look endless.
Middleton's look was completed with a striped silver clutch and drop earrings that stood out nestled within her long, straight hair.
This was certainly an unforgettable look that we haven't seen before coming from the woman who has been known to recycle some of her favorite fashions — or even borrow outfits from her mother. Some of Middleton's favorite things to rewear include dresses, jackets, and a favorite pair of black suede boots. When visiting Canada and the United States last year, she wore a pair of nude L. K. Bennett pumps over and over.
Rachel Zoe has weighed in on Middleton opting to repeat some of her favorite looks. "I love that about her," the celebrity stylist told "Good Morning America." "I think that just makes her so much more human and approachable … I think that's great." And Middleton's demeanor adds to her overall look. "She's always smiling. She carries herself with such grace and elegance. And she's royalty," Zoe said. "I think that for everybody out there right now, especially for the young people, it's like, she seems like this girl that you want to go sit down with and talk to and hang out with. And I think that her style just reflects a lot about who she is."

'Act Like A Princess!' Shoe Designer Unimpressed With Kate Middleton's Style

Nicholas Kirkwood thinks she can do better...
The Duchess of Cambridge has impressed most of the world with her charm and style, but shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood has slammed Kate Middleton's taste in shoes.
Kirkwood, who is a favoured designer for the likes of Beyonce and shoe-hound Sarah Jessica Parker, thinks that Kate is playing the high street card too much and could do much better, especially as she's royalty.
In an interview with the Daily Beast, he said: "She just wears too much high street stuff. I know she’s trying to be democratic, but I don’t know how many pairs of LK Bennett you can wear."
But, Kirkwood admits that he's kept an eye on Kate and her shoes - and is pleased when she steps out in high-end designers' creations.
"She does occasionally come out and is wearing McQueen or something like that. It’s like, 'Do that more! You’re meant to be a princess-y type of person, so act like one!'"
Well, as we've previously reported Kate's style has definitely boosted the British economy with her favoured store L.K. Bennett reporting an significant 17% rise in profit.
"She has accelerated sales for us — when she does wear something, it always seems to go on a waiting list," said the store's US president Tony DiMasso.

$1K Blouse !

I was reading news articles off yahoo and I stubled upon this crazy article! Ann Romney wore an  $1K Shirt which was apparently "Off The Rack".

This is the article:

Designer of Ann Romney's $1K Shirt Says It's Off The Rack

CHANTILLY, Va. - The fashion house that makes the nearly $1,000 blouse worn by Ann Romney on morning television earlier this week tells ABC News that they had nothing to do with the wardrobe choice, remarking that they'd prefer to stay out of politics.
"We had nothing to do with it," a rep for designer Reed Krakoff said. "She must have bought it from Saks or Bergdorf's, we definitely didn't send it to her."
"It's 100 percent a Reed Krakoff shirt, but we 100 percent didn't send it to her," the rep added. "We don't get involved politically."
The shirt, an item in the label's 2012 Spring/Summer collection, retails for $990, and for those shopping, is called the "The Reed Audubon Silk Shirt."
The price of the shirt was first reported by the style blog Stylite.com.
Mrs. Romney does not have a stylist, according to an aide with the Romney campaign, and is likely to have purchased the shirt on her own.
A spokeswoman for the Romney campaign declined to comment on Mrs. Romney's fashion choices.
This isn't the first time that Mrs. Romney has been tweaked on her fashion choices.
In March, a little girl on the ropeline at a campaign event in Illinois asked Mrs. Romney if her watch was "real."
"Well it's, it's real plastic," said Mrs. Romney, who wears a Michael Kors wristwatch. "But it's a real watch too."
During the 2008 campaign, and even now in the White House, first lady Michelle Obama has also been critiqued on her fashion choices. From her large collection of items from J. Crew, to her designer ball gowns, Mrs. Obama has received a lot of media attention for her clothing choices.

BBYO Events!

This past weekend I went to a BBYO weekend event. BBYO stands for B'nai Brith Youth Organization. This specific convention is called Conclave. It is a very sad event because it the senior's last convention and where we sing goodbye songs to them. I cried alot... :(
It was a very busy schedule! And for each day, of coarse i needed a cute outfit! Here are some ideas of what to pack when going to conventions.

Bus ride there / casual outfit:

I am wearing a polka dot blouse, with leggings. Leggings look cute, but still are comfortable. So it is perfect if trying to find a comfy casual outfit. I wore UGG boots because the weather was cold, a white necklace to add a pop of color and accessorize a bit. In addition, i wore my glasses because i thought it gave the outfit a bit of a preppy edge.

Casual outfit:

I am on the left side. I am wearing a light pink crop shirt, jeans, and UGG boots. The weather was chilly so i wore a light jacket on top of the outfit.

 DANCE:

At the event, there was a final dance after the whole serious weekend. I wore a blue ruffled dress from Express. I love the store Express and all their dresses. On top I wore a black cardigan because I was chilly. The cardigan had poofy shoulders which gave an extra flare to the outfit. In addition, i wore sheer black tights with the outfit because the dress was pretty short. I added a black necklace to add a pop and curled my hair.

Graduation

so, Graduation is coming up. Personally, i have a lot of friends in the senior class and i am NOT excited for their graduation. I'm really getting big anxiety for it. I don't know what I am going to do with out them. I'm also frightened that i may never see them again, and i DO NOT want that. The past two years I have gotten so close to some of them... and i can not picture my life without them.

Anyways, since i shall be going to their graduation, i need to find out what to wear. I was thinking a nice dress, not too fancy or casual. Something like these dresses, with a nice shoe.

Depending on the weather, i may wear a nice cover up. In addition, I will add a lot of accessories. I will also do a nice makeup with eyeshadow colors similar to the dress color.
